- Hi.
-
- I've got a strange problem with my Courier V.34+ in that in doesn't
- lock the DTE speed all the time.
-
- The modem is hooked up to a Sparc5 and I have set AT&B1, The
- port is configured to run at 38400 and I have no problems dialing
- out.
-
- But on certain time when I dial-in, it doesn't talk to the port at
- 38400 and I get gibberish. Talking to the modem from the
- console sets it right again and dial-in will work again for a
- while.
-
- The mdoem seems to only be able to lock DTE speed with
- the port talks to it periodically (eg. send an AT).
-
- Has anyone seen this problem before and is there a way to
- fixed the DTE speed at 38400 using the S registers?
-
- Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
-
